My Story
Kathy Houchins (born February 23, 1948) is an American novelist and short-story writer who has settled her life in a Florida Panhandle city.
She was born in Key West and has always liked the sand between her toes. The emerald-green waters in her backyard are what keep her grounded and coming up with more stories to share.
She retired from the hospitality industry in 2019 when her kidneys failed. She did get a kidney transplant in July 2022 and is doing really well.
She has always written articles for various organizations and provided the written word whenever needed. Her greatest joy is to bring entertainment to her readers.
She has also just opened a YouTube channel
“Kathy Houchins Stories” where she will do video excerpts from her books and post videos on other topics. She has many tales to tell and enjoys sharing them with her followers.
