Born on February 23, 1948, in Key West, Florida, Kathy Houchins is a novelist and short story writer now settled in a Florida Panhandle city. Inspired by the emerald-green waters that surrounded her, she channels her love for the beach into her writing.
After retiring from the hospitality industry in 2019 due to kidney failure, Kathy’s passion for storytelling was renewed following a successful kidney transplant in July 2022. Today, she continues to share her stories, bringing joy and inspiration to her readers and followers.
